Shootouts aren't cool
So Toronto Police shot and killed a man at a Therapy Clinic last night. He brandished a shotgun, and then shot a Police Sergeant in the arm. The officer returned fire; killing the man. The Special Investigations Unit has been brought in to investigate, as they investigate any death or serious injury involving a police officer.
I really hope this cop doesn't get any grief for this. Personally, if you even show a gun to a cop, you should be expecting to be shot. I'm thinking this might be a case of cop-icide, but even so... I'm sick of hearing about police being chastized for firing at someone for brandishing a firearm... if I flashed a gun at a cop (which I'm not stupid enough to do), I'd be fully expecting for him to open fire. People are dumb.
Rocket Launchers... say, on the 401... should have a completely different set of guidelines.
