Corn Nuts... Does it get any better than this?
No, no it does not.
I was in Kensington Market earlier this afternoon. Kensington is a market here in TO, right in the heart of Chinatown, and it's the best place for weird food and weird clothes. They have a lot of vintage and surplus clothing stores, and that's why Jen and I headed down there today. However, I left the Market with more than I ever imagined. BBQ Corn Nuts... bought in bulk... for insanely cheap. I'm blown away.
So far, I can only find one problem with Corn Nuts... they make your hands pretty salty and greasy, so you can't...say, type your blog entry while you eat them... BTW, it's not stopping me. Seriously though, most food won't let you do that.
I also had my first Falafel. Now, Jen is quarter Lebanese (as anyone who's hung out with her for 10 minutes knows... sorry Jen), and she used to work in a Middle Eastern Restaurant in Waterloo, so she's a fan of the "Crunch Patties" (bonus points if anyone can get the reference). She talked me into trying one (without too much effort), and man was it good... and only $2. I'll be eating that stuff all the time now.
Now I'm off to enjoy my Corn Nuts in front of the tube.
