Can it be? Could it be true?
Surely my dream is a reality, and this week has finally come to an end? Need I only survive a few more hours at the job I loathe to enjoy a full FOUR DAYS OFF??!! I can hardly contain my giddy glee. (I was going to add girlish in there, but the alliteration would have been too predictable)
How does someone who works for a bank get four days off in November? Easy, here in Canada, November 11th is a Bank Holiday. We celebrate Remembrance Day (Armistice Day in the States) and since so many veterans who came back got jobs with banks, Canadian Financial Institutions are some of the latest private companies to treat it as a holiday for employees nationwide. I took monday the 10th as a holiday to sit around in my boxers and eat dry cereal while watching the History Channel. Life will be sweet. I need only live through a few more hours. Tick... Tock... Tick... Tock.
